At Illumene, we are always excited when a potential client inquires about holding an event at their home. Private residences offer a unique set of circumstances, challenges and rewards and are always a lot of fun!

We met with our bride Alexandria at the home the event would be held at in Fort Lauderdale. The property laid out beautifully with the home set closer to the street, so guests could valet in front and then take a short stroll around to the back yard where the beauty of our final product would unfold as they entered the reception.

Illumene and our sister company Liquid DJs were two sponsors of the "Knot so Typical" vendor only networking event in Miami Beach. Planner Jamie Lipman conceived a surrealistic and advant-garde design that was flawlessly implemented by a selected group of vendors. Shannon and Gregorio (from Liquid DJs) kept a solid groove with a few interruptions by some of the cool guys and girls from the South Florida wedding industry.

Corporate Christmas party at The Harbor Beach Marriott

It's always exciting to get a call from Bobby at Panache Style. His energy makes every event we do together over the top fun. This December holiday event brought us to the Marriott Harbor Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Three hundred guests gathered in amazing winter wonderland created by Panache Style with the help of Illumene's lighting.

Snow flakes big and small adorned the walls and dancefloor while moving head intelligent lights slowly scanned the room like flurries of snow making every glass and centerpiece in the room glisten as it was bathed with snow-white LED lights.

Trying to find another ballroom to hold your company's yearly mixer or holiday event? Maybe your warehouse or workspace is the best idea! What else screams more about your brand than where your product is created! Imagine bartenders pouring, the smell of great food, music being played by a band or DJ and an energetic dancefloor all happening where forklifts usually lift and move pallets or products are manufactured. You can look up and down the coast for a unique venue but the most unique of all is right in front of you.

Illumene Event Lighting and Xquisite Events joined forces for one of the sexiest events of the season. After a rehearsal dinner at their waterfront home in Hollywood where they spared no expense, Heather and Robbie did it all over again the next day at The W Hotel South Beach.

Junior's Band was headlining, so we knew the party would be outrageous and the dancefloor would be full of people. We put the monogram gobo just behind the band on stage, so that it would remain a focal point all night long.

Illumene Event Lighting was invited to the W Hotel Fort Lauderdale to be part of a creation that reinvented popular image of the hotel and the use of its spaces.

Bobby Kyser from Panache Style together with Shannon from Illumene designed a scene where Alice in Wonderland meets True Blood on a moonlit night. The mood was mysterious, sultry and elegantly regal. This wasn't an event for the public though, or even paying customers. This exclusive gathering was reserved for nine influential wedding and corporate event planners in South Florida who were invited by the hotel.

50th birthday party at The Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale

In the best tradition of Russian modern opulence, Sofia threw her husband Peter an over the top 50th birthday celebration. It was the main event of a week's worth of celebrating in South Florida. The event was hosted at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale, a Russian band was flown in from New York, Xquisite Events made magic with the centerpieces and decor and Illumene created a lighting design that pulled everything together. Guests danced the night away and feasted on seven courses while spirits were passed and toasted with all night.

The Deering Estate wedding

Leah and Martin got married on a Sunday night at the Deering Estate in Miami. We had our fingers crossed for a dry, cool night and that's exactly what we got. Illumene lit the courtyard with market lights and paper lanterns of various sizes to create an intimate warm glow. Amber uplighting was used to highlight the Stone House.

JW Marquis Miami wedding lighting

When we started with the main ballroom at JW Marquis Miami, it was a big, blank canvas. To add a little more style to the air walls, we projected rose patterns on them. On top of the patterns, the room was uplit with about 30 uplights. Pinspots were aimed at every centerpiece in the room as well as the cake and bride and groom's table.
